about

Other than being all-instrumentals, and mostly sketch-like, I had two self-imposed restrictions with this group.

1. I had to use all the stringed instruments I had which were associated with my mom. That's her old 60s Harmony acoustic guitar; the Alvarez I bought for myself when I graduated high school in 1992, with the help of my mom's close friend Joe Maniscalco, who I learned such important stuff from; a mandolin she gave me one Christmas around 2005; a used dulcimer she gave me for Christmas around 2015.

2. I could use only acoustic instruments...except for "Bugendai" which I then decided I could use NO acoustics on.
